How to Backup & Version Your eLearning Course

Articulate Storyline 360 has a nice and easy way to review your course and back up your project files. This new feature means there is no reason to worry if your eLearning project file ever crashes or gets lost. You can easily download your previous version right from Articulate Review 360.

When you publish from Articulate Storyline 360 to Review 360, you select the option to back up your project. When the e-learning course uploads to Review, it will take a copy of your current project file and store it as part of that review. Not only that, but it is a simple way to version control your course. It is like creating a timestamp of your course. If you make a change that breaks your course, you can download a previous version from Review 360 and restore the learning development project as before it broke. In this Articulate Storyline 360 tutorial I will walk you through how to back up your project when you publish to Review 360.

Backing up and versioning your development projects is common when working on web development projects. Most web developers create a version of their project daily, so I am excited that this feature has now made its way to Articulate Storyline 360.
