Send xAPI Statements with No Code Using Zapier

That is right! You read the title right. Zapier allows you to connect to seemingly unconnected applications together without ANY CODE! That means you can take two every day use applications and track how your learners interact with those applications to see if what you are teaching them is being applied.

To do this though, both the application and LRS (Learning Record Store) that you are using need to have open APIs. If they do then you can easily trigger an xAPI statement from that application to your LRS.

In this example I walk you through how to trigger an xAPI statement when someone fills out a Survey Monkey. This enabled me to create an tracker for learning that happens outside an learning management system. See how I did it. I use Zapier, Survey Monkey and Watershed LRS in this video.
